Bling gold scarf detail

Thank you to the readers who have shown interest in my gold Bling scarf  (see detail above, full-length views on my Gallery page, and this link to an earlier post about it. )  Because of your interest,  my favorite complex,  labor-intensive scarf design in now back in stock.  I have a limited number of 9″ x 60″ black/gold Bling scarves available and I’m offering them for sale at a special low price of $155.00.  Like all my scarves,  they were meticulously handwoven in the USA.  Fiber content is 61% rayon chenille and 39% (an unusually soft and drapey) glitter yarn.  I also have one black/silver Bling scarf left (shown below)  available in the same size,  for the same price.

If you would like more information on either of these scarves,  please send your request using the contact form  below.  I will be happy to e-mail you my how-to-order-scarves sheet,  which spells everything out.  (There is also a special wholesale price for retailers,  so if you have a store and might like to sell my scarves,  please contact me for wholesale information.)

2009 Weave of the week #40: My scarves @ Saks Fifth Avenue

Orange/grey herringbone stripe

Orange/grey herringbone stripe

This season’s shameless commerce post:  Above and below are photos of the seven-piece 2009 men’s scarf collection that I designed exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue.  The collection is made up of a new rib weave in three rich solid colors,  and updated color combinations of my herringbone  stripe and pinstripe designs (click on the images to enlarge).

All scarves  are 100% plush rayon chenille and cost $195.00.  My designs are individually handwoven in the USA,  so the quality is impeccable,  and their carbon footprint is teensy-weensy.  Each scarf is 9″ wide x 72″ long — my most popular size for both men and women — plus a short cut fringe (see photo at top of post).

My collection is available,  under the Fern Devlin label,  in the men’s scarf department,  at these Saks Fifth Avenue stores:

Beachwood,  OH

Chevy Chase,  MD

Chicago,  IL

Hackensack,  NJ

Las Vegas,  NV

New Orleans,  LA

New York,  NY

The weather has turned autumnal and the stock market is up,  so please support domestic American handweavers  (and at least one American designer) and buy my scarves.  They will warm your soul as well as your neck — really.  And you’ll look good in them,  too.

Chevron stripe grappa

Speaking of autumn (were we speaking of autumn?) — if you’re interested, some of the (warm, cuddly, elegant!) rayon chenille scarves from my fall collection are now available at Saks in NYC, in the men’s scarf department on the sixth floor. Pictured above is one of the five colors this Chevron Stripe pattern comes in, and  some of the other colors are shown on my Gallery page. Saks also has my  Allsorts Stripe (shown in some previous posts) in navy, licorice, chocolate, and cinnamon (there’s a photo of the cinnamon on the Gallery page).

The portion of my Fall 2008 collection currently available at Saks consists of four styles, each in several colors, all designed by me and handwoven in the USA.  If you’re in NYC, stop by Saks men’s scarf department and see them all.
